Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid plans for the Scout web-intelligence API. Payments and refunds are processed by Polar, our merchant of record.
1. Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future billing and your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Billing periods are not pro-rated on cancellation unless required by law.
2. 14-day satisfaction guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will issue a full refund of that payment.
3. Credits and usage
Credits already consumed are non-refundable. Unused monthly credit allowances do not roll over and are not refundable on cancellation or downgrade.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@usescout.sh from your account email address with your request. Approved refunds are issued by Polar to your original payment method.
5. Processing time
Approved refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
6. Exceptions
Refunds are not available for accounts suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service. Duplicate or clearly erroneous charges are refunded in full.
